What is Botox?
What is Botox: BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, nonsurgical, professionally-administered treatment that can smooth out wrinkles.
Area’s to Treat with Botox: Crow’s feet/eyes, forehead, frown lines, 11’s, small lip lift or reduce smoker lines when added just on the border of the lip. Botox can also be used in other areas like the masseter muscles to relax the jaw. Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, can also be treated using Botox.
Botox is an amazing treatment for women and men to get rid of they unwanted wrinkles. Botox usually last 3 months.
How is BOTOX® administered? How soon will I see a difference? How long will my results last?
No anesthesia is required, although the area may be numbed with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. It will be determined where to administer the injections by examining your ability to move certain muscles in your brow area. The entire BOTOX® Cosmetic injection procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. Any discomfort will be minimal and brief. There’s no recovery time needed. You’re ready to get on with your day!
You can expect to see your optimal results within 14 days after your treatment. The Botox treatment generally lasts 3 months.
What to look for when choosing an Injector:
Although the end-goal of Botox and dermal filler injections is cosmetic, don’t forget that they are medical procedures with lasting effects. Injecting requires a unique mix of scientific knowledge, years of experience and artistic eye. And while price is one obvious factor you should consider,we encourage you to evaluate price in proper context. You often get what you pay for when it comes to Botox and dermal filler injections. Keep in mind that only a portion of your money is used to pay for the cost of Botox or the syringe of filler. The other portion is paying for an experienced Injector that will take care of you, with the best trainings, a safe and clean environment, and the most up-to-date tools and techniques. Although your Botox or filler appointment is only 30-45 minutes, your filler and it’s impact on your skin lasts much longer. Beware that someone offering a lower price may signify what could result in a scary significant difference in your final outcome results. With more and more schools being quick to train new injectors, you really need to be careful to not be used for someone to practice trial and error on. If a deal/price seems too good to be true, It usually is!

Will my facial expressions continue to look natural?
Although the results are visible, a treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you “had work done.” The muscle activity that causes frown lines between the brows is simply reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.
What are the common side effects?
The most common side effects following injection of BOTOX® Cosmetic include slight bruising, headache, respiratory infection, flu syndrom, temporary eyelid droop, and nausea.
Just what is BOTOX® Cosmetic?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinumbacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those frown lines between the brows to form over time.
How can I be sure I’m getting real BOTOX® Cosmetic?
Only licensed and trained healthcare professionals have the experience necessary to administer BOTOX® Cosmetic. Allergan, Inc., the maker of BOTOX® Cosmetic, is the only source for healthcare professionals to purchase the product, and each label has the “Allergan” hologram on it.
How does BOTOX® control severe underarm sweating?
BOTOX® is FDA-approved for severe underarm sweating that is not adequately managed with topical agents. BOTOX® treatment helps control this condition by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the severe sweating stops.
